Laying the Foundation for Success

In a recent meeting with our friends at the Grameen Foundation, we were given a piece of information that we took to heart.  Among other invaluable things, they said that our success is greatly dependent on the quality of our on-the-ground representative.

This is why Worldreader.org is thrilled to introduce Joseph Botwey as our manager in Ghana to oversee all the details (and there are many!) of operations of the iREAD trial.  Joseph is the founder of an inventive media company in Ghana, Reflex Media, and has a Diploma in Filmmaking from The Academy of Screen Arts.  Skilled in photography, production and directing, he has worked for for various international clients like Marcel Desailly/UBS, French TV series SAGA featuring Victoria Abril, Baglioni Hotels, British Council Ghana, Laureus World Sport Academy, WFP and others.  In Spain, he has volunteered as a teacher in one of the top schools in Barcelona, Benjamin Franklin International School and was a member of the school’s Marketing Committee.  Welcome, Joseph!
