New Readers and Markets

How do we create books that readers want to engage with? What marketing channels can be used to reach existing and potential new readers? How can we leverage the unique opportunities that a digital space creates? And how do we collaborate, as an industry, to improve the overall market and the perceived value of books? These are some of the questions you will be invited to reflect upon at this workshop sponsored by Worldreader.

Through Human-Centred Design methodology, you will be encouraged to create ideas and solutions around challenges facing the publishing industry today.

This full-day, hands-on workshop will be led by Sarah Hassanen, a specialist in HCD and innovation. She is also an experienced facilitator that has been applying these methodologies for almost 5 years in Africa, Australia and the Middle East in the space of gender empowerment, financial inclusion, health and agriculture.
