Launch a Worldreader Program — Literally Out of the Box

Worldreader Kits are our way to help other organizations and schools design and implement Kindle e-reader programs in sub-Saharan Africa, and soon all across the developing world.  The Kits contain e-readers for between one to three classrooms loaded with local and international e-books, ruggedized cases, lights, certificates, and tested training and support materials to help local schools implement Worldreader programs everywhere, improving the lives of children and families in their communities.

Worldreader prioritizes applicants with established roots in the community they work, a strong organizational reputation, content needs that match our digital library offerings, outstanding local capacity and infrastructure, and potential in terms of number of students reached. Worldreader does not provide direct funding to partners.
