Pocketful of Change? Use it in June to Make a Difference

By

Wondering what to do with all your loose change?

We’re thrilled to tell that you that during the month of June, your pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters can help kids in Africa fall in love with reading. Our goal is to raise $20,000–enough to bring thousands of e-books to more schools in the developing world. And with your help we know we can do it!

Starting June 1, you’ll be able to donate your small change to Worldreader via Coinstar kiosks–you know those big, green coin-collecting machines you see at most supermarkets, drug stores, banks, restaurants and many other places all over the U.S.

Worldreader will be the featured charity for Change Making Change, an organization founded on the belief that people giving small amounts can do as much good as a few giving lots. Change Making Change is one of Coinstar’s major Coins That Count charity partners.

This is such an easy way to make a BIG difference. And you can already get involved by collecting your change, telling your kids, friends, yoga teacher, dog-walker to do the same, and in June plan to go to a Coinstar machine. Decide to make this your do-good project to kick-off the summer!

Get ready to donate for reading. Your coins means more books to kids and schools in Africa.

Stay tuned!
